Toronto is under siege, and the bass guitars are out! Scott Pilgrim EX has officially launched today, March 3, 2026, bringing a brand-new "adventure-brawler" experience to every major platform. Developed by the retro-masters at Tribute Games, this isn't just a remaster—it’s a full-blown sequel and evolution of the cult classic.
A New Story by the Creator The most exciting part? The story is written by series creator Bryan Lee O’Malley. Set in the year 20XX, Toronto has been split into three warring zones controlled by Vegans, Robots, and Demons. When Scott’s bandmates are kidnapped, the crew has to fight through time and space to bring them home.
Two New Playable Fighters The roster has expanded to seven characters, including two fan-favorites making their playable debut:
Matthew Patel: A tactical fighter who summons "demon hipsters" to trap enemies and uses fire magic to control the screen.
Robot-01: A high-speed, heavy-hitting machine that can transform its limbs into projectiles and thrusters.
