Move over Animal Crossing! Pokémon Pokopia has officially arrived on the Nintendo Switch 2, and it’s every bit as charming as we hoped. Instead of battling, you take on the role of a Ditto transformed into a human, working with Professor Tangrowth to build a sanctuary for Pokémon.

The core mechanic of Pokopia is using your Ditto abilities to navigate and shape the world. By befriending other Pokémon, you "learn" their field moves:
- Bulbasaur’s Leafage: Helps wild grass and crops grow instantly.
- Lapras’s Surf: Transform and cross any body of water to find hidden items.
- Machamp’s Strength: Move heavy obstacles to expand your town borders.
Multiplayer Highlight: Cloud Islands
For the first time in a Pokémon sim, you can create Cloud Islands. These are persistent online spaces where your friends can visit, farm, and build even when you are offline!
